About the event
Celebrate Earth Day (and Arbor Day) with conservation-minded women in your region. This FREE event is designed to bring together individuals who care about the land and water in their communities. The gathering will encourage women-focused conversation and collaboration among folks who are working in different ways to care for the land. This is a POTLUCK, so please bring a dish to share! Water will be provided. Alcoholic and N/A Beverages available for purchase at the bar.
—> We will hear from two conservation professionals about the role of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs), the importance of soil health, cover crops, tree and shrub programs, and more. We'll share ideas for small and large scale conservation projects, and play a round of TRIVIA!
