Join Kate Mudge for a look at both: a working rotational grazing system for sheep and 7 acres of former pasture restored to native prairie, funded through NRCS EQIP, the Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund, RSDP, and MDA. Open to anyone with land and curiosity, no farming background required. This is a family event!
Whether you're weighing a pollinator or perennial planting, thinking about rotational grazing, or just curious what's involved in either, this field day is for you. Kate Mudge and her spouse operate a small sheep farm in Otter Tail County, where they converted 7 acres of former pasture into prairie and are working to build out a rotational grazing system, alongside an apiary.
